I recently stayed at this property and, while the accommodations were decent, the surrounding neighborhood left much to be desired. The area felt quite rough, with a noticeable lack of safety and cleanliness. It was the abandon ransacked house across the street that did me in. The lobby was locked and had to be let in. Like I said the room was fine, needs some love but no complaints but the area needs some work.

Kind of a disappointing hotel. I'm a bit surprised that it's a Marriott property as it's long in the tooth and while it looks like the rooms have had a semi recent renovation, they're still grungy, the halls are dark and dank and in many cases the maintenance is poor. The pool wasn't operational due to a light hanging from one end exposing a cable. Trim boards were falling off walls. The fold out in our room in 219 had really NASTY, disturbing stains. The mattress should have been thrown out. The staff is pretty awesome and the breakfast is good. Parking is ample as well. Given the $250 a night charge, I would have expected something significantly better. If you want a better experience, consider driving 20 minutes away and closer to the mountains, there are better Marriott and Hilton properties there. This is just a disappointing hotel for the price.

EDIT: So in fairness to the hotel, the General Manager personally called to apologize in response to this review. It was a very classy phone call and he was incredibly apologetic for the experience and it took a great amount of class and character to personally call and apologize. It honestly makes me consider going back there post-renovation. That's a helluva good leader for a hotel.

Lots of parking here. Front desk staff was great. Room was large and very clean. Had a fridge, microwave, etc. Some noise from units above and side. Mainly heavy footsteps and TV via the adjoining door. Not bad enough to make be check out. Did not experience breakfast. Elevator needs some TLC. Which is strange because the other areas look well kept. That said, I would stay here again.

We stayed at the TownePlace Suites 800 Tabor St. We stayed just 1 night, outdoor pool closed for season, dod not use gym facilities. Room was nice for my wife & myself. On the way out in the morning, my wife was walking on the sidewalk, at the wheelchair ramp the ramp edges where the meet the sidewalk are raised 1/2" to 1". My wife tripped here and fell down, scrapping her knee, bruising her knee, hands and possibly her elbow & shoulder. An employee came up and asked if she could help. She also said that she parks away because she tripped also. I spoke to Ashley the assistant manager, asked her to come and look at where my wife fell. I filled out a injury report and stated to Ashley the assistant manager. You've got employees who knew about this, so it logical to say so does the management. They were apologetic. This is why I gave them 2 stars. EVERYONE BE CAREFUL!!

I would highly recommend this hotel. We had to make a last minute change of hotels and this place was more than accommodating. They let us check in early and the customer service was excellent. The rooms were surprisingly large and very clean, including an oven and refrigerator. The pet areas were accessible and the breakfast was delicious. This is a great place with easy access to major roads and great views of the mountains.

The location was good for me and the staff friendly and helpful. The building itself is due for renovations and is rough. Aside from that it was clean and everything functioned properly. I would stay here again for work due to it being a lower priced Marriott, but I would not stay with my family on vacation. The hotel is due for renovations soon so check back.

We stayed here for the Zack Bryan concert. We checked in and were greeted in a proper manner. They offered snacks and a beer to celebrate the end of spring. That was a surprise. The buildings appear old. There appears to be a lack of close parking, but sufficient. The pool was small, but was outdoors.

The room was dated but sufficient for one night. We got the handicap room again for some reason. The shower is too low for me. The fridge worked well. The table was nice.

The room has a connection door to the room next to me. I could hear everything from their talking and their TV. So I turned up my TV.

The hallways had old carpet. The next morning their was carpet freshener placed on the steps and left there. I assume it was carpet freshener, but it was everywhere and not vacuumed during my time exiting the hotel.

There were plenty of restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes drive of the hotel.

There was a couple bus spots close to the hotel. It was approximately 45 to 65 minutes bus transfer to tram to get to the broncos stadium. I enjoyed that much more than parking at the stadium.

I would stay here again for a one night stay, but most likely would not stay here for a long stay.

I came here after a very bad experience at the Marriott residence inn on Zuni( Don't ever go there unless it's your last resort) I was grateful to have a place to lay our heads for 2 weeks my daughter was here dancing. The lady at the front was nice and comforting after if been crying all day. I was so appreciative as we had a budget and were about to be out of money trying to stay downtown. We were so grateful to have a decent place to stay. There were many things wrong with this place, but our safety was important. I really didn’t want to add this place as part of my complaint. However, I have been asking the front desk for help since Sunday, July 14th when I arrived. The 2nd room TV is missing wires, so my daughter has to watch TV in the front room, the phone doesn’t work and has the wrong room number on it. I have been asking them to come every day. They said they would send someone, but the maintenance guy was already gone Sunday. Monday, he didn’t come in to work, Tuesday he said he came but the do not disturb sign for the cleaning people was on the door. I thought it was for them not to clean. I sat and waited for him all day Tuesday. I went to the office on Wednesday to ask again and that’s when I was told about the sign. So, I asked can he come today they said yes, they would send him. Thursday came and no one came. Friday July 19th came and still no one. I went to my daughter’s performance and came back around 8:30-9 pm and the mirror in the main bedroom fell on top of my suitcase. I called to report it and ask why the maintenance guy has not made it here and to tell them about the mirror. She said sorry he left for a min ill have him come get the mirror. Then she said wait ill come and get it and she did. All this time I have had no phone, missing a tv, and there's more ,the toilet is barely attached to the floor, I had to screw the shower shelved in myself as well, not to mention there was a spider in my bed!!! It’s just been one thing after another. I called Marriott bonvoy and they said to talk to management at the hotel ? they never come!!!!
