Es ist eine Unverschämtheit diesen Ort als Unterkunft zu vermarkten. Das muss wohl ein Witz sein. Auf den Bilder sieht alles viel anders aus. Sehr beängstigend, nicht sicher. Menschen mit Klaustrophobie würden es kaum aushalten

I have quite mixed feelings after staying in thr Cubes hotel. I like the idea of small, but affordable and individual chambers. Execution of this idea could be better. The rooms are made out of particle board and don't have windows whatsoever. The only air circulation is via ventilation system, that is not sufficient. The room was too hot and I felt smell of wood glue. Still ventilation was noisy, and I had to use earplugs. Adding windows with curtains would help, even if they look towards another chamber. Because of the Cubes' material, there was high risk of fire. The smoking is forbidden, but sometimes I felt smell of it in common area nevertheless. There is electricity inside cubes, but I didn't not see any fire extinguisher anywhere.
Cleanliness in the rooms was sufficient. The linen were fresh, but with small holes and old stains, that could not be washed. I noticed dust and hair from previous stay in the corners nearby sleeping area. In contrast, the common rooms, like kitchen, toilets and bathrooms were in almost perfect condition and looked very new. I would suggest the hotel to hire more people, because the cleaning lady looked really overwhelmed.
Another big issue in the Cubes was safety. The doors to the building and to the hotel itself could be open without any key or pin code. Only the rooms closed properly. Almost every night I saw people sleeping in common areas. They didn't do any harm and my belongings were fine, but I didn't feel comfortable.
Overall, while the concept is really cool, the hotel needs some major improvements. Until they are implemented, I doubt visiting Cubes again.

FOR YOUR SAFETY I DO NOT RECOMMEND !
Front door and dorm room door won't lock, anyone could enter at any point at day or night !
No noise attenuation whatsover in the pods, you can ear everything that is happening on the adjacent pod as if you were in the same room and most of what is happening on the dorm from your pod.
Pods are tiny, the heat builds up quickly inside. The ventilation system will wake you randomly at night with loud noises for 10 min and is not sufficient to decrease heat to acceptable level.
No comfort whatsoever, you basically sleep on a mattress on the floor, with a meter between you and the ceiling.
Showers, toilets, kitchen are rather clean, but don't expect your bed to be.

Had hier een kamer geboekt voor drie nachten maar ben kort na aankomst weg gegaan en een nieuw hostel moeten zoeken- zoals vele anderen ook zeggen is de deur kapot en de hal goor. De accommodatie zelf is zo klein dat je de deur amper kan sluiten als je koffers hebt en het bed is een matras op de grond met een claustrofobisch laag plafond erboven. De fotos op airbnb zien er licht en schoon uit maar in werkelijkheid is alles vies en grouw. Er zat op alle toiletten poep en het was te warm met een vieze stank. Inderdaad geen aanspreek punt en de host reageerd niet op berichten. Spendeer je tijd en geld elders!

TLDR: Absolute nightmare, DO NOT GO!!
We booked a night with my friend and upon arrival (in a somewhat scary street) we first discovered that the main door had a big impact on the glass.
Then while going upstairs it was really nasty and there were cigarettes buts everywhere, including right at the door of CUBES (indoor stairs).
We then entered and it looked like the photos except 10 years later after a zombie apocalypse. Chairs broken, floor with stains everywhere and holes.
We proceeded to the « room » which is just a tiny cube (that’s the concept tho, but it gave black mirror vibes), but imagine our surprise when we discovered that it had not been cleaned ! Old sheets were still on, and it was disgusting.
We called the help phone number to tell them and they could not do a thing, so they just refunded us, leaving us at 8pm without anywhere to sleep (only positive point in this story is that the lady on the phone that was actually nice).
Anyway we would not have slept there it was simply disgusting and we felt insecure.

the rooms are tiny and there aren’t any windows in the room so there’s not enough air. it’s hard to breathe there.
the water both from the tap and in the shower is freezing cold, which makes it impossible to take a shower.
our bed sheets didn’t feel fresh, and our „neighbors“ complained to us that their bed wasn’t made at all! and there was no stuff around that they could talk to, to fix this problem.
also, the place didn’t feel safe. the front doors weren’t looked anyhow, so anyone could come inside.
i don’t recommend staying here 🙁

It was one of my worst experience with accomodation.
We came here for new years eve, and it was 228€, but the photos were fine so we thought it’s okey for one night. We’ve found hair and bodyhair in our bed, I think they didn’t changed the bed sheet. It’s a closed room without any possibility to let air inside the room. My chest started to hurt after 1-2 hours because I couldn’t breath normally. I had to come out to breath again and then I went back and I woke up every second hour to open the door until the air comes in.
The bathroom was so dirty, a trainstation is cleaner than this place. Really regret not to wait for the first train in the morning.
