Das Ramada Hotel in Salt Lake City war die schlechteste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise, Finger weg davon!!! Für über 100€ die Nacht extrem teuer! Das Hotel ist eine einzige Absteige und ist mehr als in die Jahre gekommen… Für 50€ die Nacht ok, aber 110€?! Die Zimmer sind dreckig, total runter gekommen und abgewohnt. Die Fotos täuschen. Es war laut und hat gerochen. Die Lage ist fürchterlich. Schon der Empfang war unfreundlich. Nie wieder, wir haben sogar eine Nacht verkürzt. Die Fotos zeigen alles

Tolles Hotel zwar nicht Zentral gelegen aber es gibt einen Shuttle Service in die Innenstadt.

TLDR: beds are comfy and clean (everything else was iffy) staff were friendly. Not a great example of the Ramada name… yet.

Pros:
- The staff were very friendly, we arrived late, and the night front desk guy was pretty chill.

- The bed was excellent. Sheets were clean and soft, pillows dang near perfect.

Cons:
-Renovations are really holding back this hotel from greatness.

- The old carpet smell will hit you like a ton of bricks, but they’re working on it.

-Bathroom was in very poor shape, the tub faucet was coming out of the wall. I took a bath rather than a full shower.

-there were stains, everywhere. The bed was the cleanest thing, even some of the towels had stains. The furniture was pretty neat up

All in All: I see the potential in the hotel, but it’s not really cutting it right now.

Our stay here was perfectly fine. The previous reviews are pretty accurate, but while we stayed we didn’t have any serious issues. Bathroom and beds were clean and in good condition, had a quiet, solid night’s rest before heading out of town. It was just the carpet which looked like it hadn’t been changed since the motel was built, and the walls and furniture which had also seen a few decades of use. Accidentally booked it because of the low price (didn’t think to look at the reviews before) and somehow made this mistake again in another motel closer to the center, which was far worse than this Ramada (so bad we didn’t even stay).

This place was filthy dirty. The walls had holes the glass was broken on the exterior doors. The hallways smelled so bad, I thought something was rotting. We were issued two keys neither worked on any doors. We never made it into our rooms because we were so grossed out we asked for a refund. That is the reason for service 5 stars!
Until this place gets a complete overhaul I wouldn’t step foot on the property for any price.

Update: My stay was almost 2 weeks ago and they are still holding my deposit. I’ve called and still they have not released my money! This is ridiculous

I stayed here for three days while working. While it’s not perfect, for the price I paid, it was a great stay. James checked me in and he was a joy to chat with!! He’s definitely a great asset to this location. It seems to book out often as you may find it hard to park if you come in after 9pm. The night staff I dealt with were nice but could be nicer when a customer is speaking. The breakfast area is small since they are remodeling and working on the actual breakfast room.
The room was okay. While one bed was way too soft and caves in the middle the other bed was the perfect firmness. There was a tear in the carpet in the closet area and some places in the bathroom where caulking was replaced and it’s visible but the room was clean. That’s my big thing, everything else is minor and can be fixed. It’s under new management from what I understand and they are clearly working to do better as it is under construction during my stay. I’d definitely stay again.

Don’t do it. Cheap stay, but not worth it.

1. There’s no continental breakfast. It’s “grab and go” only which means a brown paper bag nasty excuse of a children’s lunch you pick up at the front desk in the morning.

2. They don’t clean the rooms. We stayed four days and they never cleaned or changed towels. When we asked why, the front desk didn’t have a good answer and then proceeded to still not clean.

3. Shower plumbing is bad. There was a leak behind the wall in the shower. I know because water dripped out of moldy black holes and onto the floor every time I showered. It sprayed all over and literally shocked me (like electric shock) every time I turned off the bathroom light.

4. Ice machine didn’t make ice; pool was closed and hot tub was drained; AC had cold, hot, or off - not adjustable at all; mini fridge was going out; holes in the room walls; no bearings on the wardrobe drawers so they kept getting stuck; bedside lights turned on and off by themselves.
