Unser One-Bedroom Häusschen war einfach top. Wir hätten es uns nicht besser wünschen können. Tolles Schlafzimmer, super Küche (inkl. Waschmaschine/Tumbler), Wohnzimmer und sogar zwei Badezimmer. Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort und konnten Pool etc. leider nicht nutzen - aber es fehlt einem wirklich an nichts in diesem Resort. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Tolle kleine Wohnung, im Erdgeschoss bewohnt, mit komplett eingerichteter Küche, Waschmaschine und Trockner.|Eigener Terrasse und Parkplatz direkt vorm Eingang.|Pool auch sehr schön, Frühstück war auch in Ordnung.|Nicht weit von Buschgarden entfernt.

So convenient to drive to all of the historical sites from here, which is the main reason we are visiting. We are here in cold January and are happy that the restaurant on site is open. The menu is not extensive but the food is very tasty and the servers are so friendly and helpful. It is nice not to have to drive far at all for good food and drink. If it were warmer, we would be walking! But at 20 degrees we are delighted with the gas fireplace in our accommodations. The parking right outside our door is also very convenient. Didn’t have to carry our suitcases far at all. The grounds are beautiful.

We got a great deal on a 2 bedroom apartment. It was really comfortable and had all of the amenities. The first night someone parked in our assigned spot. They give you a number you can text and they were ready to send out security. In our case the people came out and left. The assigned parking was really nice

Had a great stay at the Historic Powhatan. The units are HUGE and there is plenty of room for families to spread out. The rooms are clean and everything seems well maintained and cared for. The grounds and facilities are beautiful. My kids loved the indoor pool and mini golf. They have great activities throughout the day. I will come back again!

Now I keep all of my reviews honest, and as unbiased a possible. So let's get into this. For starters, the location was excellent, easy in and out, not too close to the roads, just all around a good spot. Some of the furnishings could use an upgrade
A new TV is about as expensive as a more modern stove top, and a new sink is cheaper when done right. The beds were stiffer than a military cot, and yes I've slept in those. I'd personally prefer to have the ac unit that adjustable to be on the main floor, not 26 steps up. My biggest complaint of them all was the back door for the patio was held together WITH PAINTERS TAPE. The top screw was missing, the door frame was rotting, and don't even get me started on the poor water pressure. I've had better showers as a Courtyard Inn. The toilet had to be manually set each time you used it because whoever installed the flush and fill systems on the tank, sucks. I'm a licensed plumber, and I know for a fact the flush valve isn't supposed to be cracked and rigid. I shouldn't have to take the lid off every single time just to make sure it flushes right. This is supposed to be a Hilton location which used to mean something. I see the standards have dropped. Is that why getting a decent comforter and fitted sheets is too much to ask for these days? Next time, I'm choosing Marriott or something better.
